Chengbin Zhu, Ph.D.

Dr. Chengbin Zhu holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where his research covered numerical analysis, optimization and high-performance computing.

At Fitila, he engineers geospatial machine-learning pipelines that bring multi-modal satellite and subsurface data together for critical-minerals work, and develops generative image models that combine language-model embeddings with diffusion and GAN architectures for synthetic data. He works in Python, C++, PyTorch, TensorFlow and CUDA.
